NKJV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New King James VersionNew American Standard Bible 1995
To the Chief Musician. With flutes. A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation.1For the choir director; for flute accompaniment. A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my groaning.
Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray.2Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God, For to You I pray.
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.3In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.
For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You.4For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil dwells with You.
The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity.5The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity.
You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.6You destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.
But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.7But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.
Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face.8O LORD, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; Make Your way straight before me.
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; Their inward part is destruction; Their throat is an open tomb; They flatter with their tongue.9There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself. Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue.
Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, For they have rebelled against You.10Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against You.
But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.11But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.
For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.12For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield.
