New King James VersionBerean Study Bible
A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and justice; To You, O LORD, I will sing praises.1A Psalm of David. I will sing of Your loving devotion and justice; to You, O LORD, I will sing praises.
I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.2I will ponder the way that is blameless—when will You come to me? I will walk in my house with integrity of heart.
I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me.3I will set no worthless thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.
A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know wickedness.4A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know nothing of evil.
Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, Him I will destroy; The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, Him I will not endure.5Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, I will put to silence; the one with haughty eyes and a proud heart, I will not endure.
My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, That they may dwell with me; He who walks in a perfect way, He shall serve me.6My eyes favor the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way of integrity shall minister to me.
He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; He who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.7No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who tells lies shall stand in my presence.
Early I will destroy all the wicked of the land, That I may cut off all the evildoers from the city of the LORD.8Every morning I will remove all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off every evildoer from the city of the LORD.
