Psalm 13
NIV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionNET Bible
1For the director of music. A psalm of David. How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?1For the music director; a psalm of David. How long, LORD, will you continue to ignore me? How long will you pay no attention to me?
2How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?2How long must I worry, and suffer in broad daylight? How long will my enemy gloat over me?
3Look on me and answer, LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,3Look at me! Answer me, O LORD my God! Revive me, or else I will die!
4and my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall.4Then my enemy will say, "I have defeated him!" Then my foes will rejoice because I am upended.
5But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.5But I trust in your faithfulness. May I rejoice because of your deliverance!
6I will sing the LORD's praise, for he has been good to me.6I will sing praises to the LORD when he vindicates me.
