Psalm 23
NET Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleEnglish Standard Version
1A psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He takes me to lush pastures, he leads me to refreshing water. 2He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
3He restores my strength. He leads me down the right paths for the sake of his reputation. 3He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4Even when I must walk through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff reassure me. 4Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5You prepare a feast before me in plain sight of my enemies. You refresh my head with oil; my cup is completely full. 5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6Surely your goodness and faithfulness will pursue me all my days, and I will live in the LORD's house for the rest of my life. 6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
