1Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and praise is becoming. | 1Hallelujah! How good it is to sing to our God, for praise is pleasant and lovely. |
2The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. | 2The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem; he gathers Israel's exiled people. |
3He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. | 3He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. |

13For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you. | 13For he strengthens the bars of your city gates and blesses your children within you. |
14He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat. | 14He endows your territory with prosperity; he satisfies you with the finest wheat. |
15He sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly. | 15He sends his command throughout the earth; his word runs swiftly. |

17He casts forth His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold? | 17he throws his hailstones like crumbs. Who can withstand his cold? |
18He sends forth His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow. | 18He sends his word and melts them; he unleashes his winds, and the water flows. |
19He declares His words to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances to Israel. | 19He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and judgments to Israel. |
20He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Praise the LORD! | 20He has not done this for every nation; they do not know his judgments. Hallelujah! |
