| 2May Israel rejoice in its Maker, and Zion's descendants in their King! | 2O Israel, rejoice in your Maker. O people of Jerusalem, exult in your King. |
| 3May they praise his name with dancing, chanting songs to him with tambourines and lyres. | 3Praise his name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp. |
