Psalm 130
HCSB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleNew Living Translation
1A song of ascents. Out of the depths I call to You, Yahweh! 1From the depths of despair, O LORD, I call for your help.
2Lord, listen to my voice; let Your ears be attentive to my cry for help. 2Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
3Yahweh, if You considered sins, Lord, who could stand? 3LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?
4But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be revered. 4But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.
5I wait for Yahweh; I wait and put my hope in His word. 5I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
6I wait for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning-- more than watchmen for the morning. 6I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.
7Israel, put your hope in the LORD. For there is faithful love with the LORD, and with Him is redemption in abundance. 7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.
8And He will redeem Israel from all its sins. 8He himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin.
