1The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the LORD;1לְדָוִ֗ד מִ֫זְמ֥וֹר לַֽ֭יהוָה הָאָ֣רֶץ וּמְלוֹאָ֑הּ תֵּ֝בֵ֗ל וְיֹ֣שְׁבֵי בָֽהּ׃
2for he laid its foundation on the seas and established it on the rivers.2כִּי־ ה֭וּא עַל־ יַמִּ֣ים יְסָדָ֑הּ וְעַל־ נְ֝הָר֗וֹת יְכוֹנְנֶֽהָ׃
3Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place?3מִֽי־ יַעֲלֶ֥ה בְהַר־ יְהוָ֑ה וּמִי־ יָ֝קוּם בִּמְק֥וֹם קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃
4The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not appealed to what is false, and who has not sworn deceitfully.4נְקִ֥י כַפַּ֗יִם וּֽבַר־ לֵ֫בָ֥ב אֲשֶׁ֤ר ׀ לֹא־ נָשָׂ֣א לַשָּׁ֣וְא נַפְשִׁ֑י וְלֹ֖א נִשְׁבַּ֣ע לְמִרְמָֽה׃
5He will receive blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.5יִשָּׂ֣א בְ֭רָכָה מֵאֵ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה וּ֝צְדָקָ֗ה מֵאֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׁעֽוֹ׃
6Such is the generation of those who inquire of him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah6זֶ֭ה דּ֣וֹר דרשו [דֹּרְשָׁ֑יו] (מְבַקְשֵׁ֨י) פָנֶ֖יךָ יַעֲקֹ֣ב סֶֽלָה׃
7Lift up your heads, you gates! Rise up, ancient doors! Then the King of glory will come in.7שְׂא֤וּ שְׁעָרִ֨ים ׀ רָֽאשֵׁיכֶ֗ם וְֽ֭הִנָּשְׂאוּ פִּתְחֵ֣י עוֹלָ֑ם וְ֝יָב֗וֹא מֶ֣לֶךְ הַכָּבֽוֹד׃
8Who is this King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle.8מִ֥י זֶה֮ מֶ֤לֶךְ הַכָּ֫ב֥וֹד יְ֭הוָה עִזּ֣וּז וְגִבּ֑וֹר יְ֝הוָ֗ה גִּבּ֥וֹר מִלְחָמָֽה׃
9Lift up your heads, you gates! Rise up, ancient doors! Then the King of glory will come in.9שְׂא֤וּ שְׁעָרִ֨ים ׀ רָֽאשֵׁיכֶ֗ם וּ֭שְׂאוּ פִּתְחֵ֣י עוֹלָ֑ם וְ֝יָבֹא מֶ֣לֶךְ הַכָּבֽוֹד׃
10Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD of Armies, he is the King of glory. Selah10מִ֤י ה֣וּא זֶה֮ מֶ֤לֶךְ הַכָּ֫ב֥וֹד יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֑וֹת ה֤וּא מֶ֖לֶךְ הַכָּב֣וֹד סֶֽלָה׃
