Psalm 19
BSB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Berean Study BibleEnglish Standard Version
For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.1The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.2Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.
Without speech or language, without a sound to be heard,3There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard.
their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun.4Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
Like a bridegroom emerging from his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course,5which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
it rises at one end of the heavens and runs its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.6Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
The Law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is trustworthy, making wise the simple.7The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
The precepts of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart; the commandments of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.8the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; the judgments of the LORD are true, being altogether righteous.9the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.
They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.10More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.
By them indeed Your servant is warned; in keeping them is great reward.11Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
Who can discern his own errors? Cleanse me from my hidden faults.12Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults.
Keep Your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless and cleansed of great transgression.13Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.14Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.
