| 11Those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. | 11And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. | 11So the ransomed of the LORD will return And come with joyful shouting to Zion, And everlasting joy will be on their heads. | 13that you forget the LORD your Maker, who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor? | 13and have forgotten the LORD, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and you fear continually all the day because of the wrath of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the wrath of the oppressor? | 13That you have forgotten the LORD your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth, That you fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, As he makes ready to destroy? | 14The cowering prisoners will soon be set free; they will not die in their dungeon, nor will they lack bread. | 14He who is bowed down shall speedily be released; he shall not die and go down to the pit, neither shall his bread be lacking. | 14"The exile will soon be set free, and will not die in the dungeon, nor will his bread be lacking. | 14The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail. | 14The prisoner is soon to be set free; he will not die and go to the Pit, and his food will not be lacking. |

The Cup of Wrath | 17Awake, awake! Rise up, Jerusalem, you who have drunk from the hand of the LORD the cup of his wrath, you who have drained to its dregs the goblet that makes people stagger. | 17Wake yourself, wake yourself, stand up, O Jerusalem, you who have drunk from the hand of the LORD the cup of his wrath, who have drunk to the dregs the bowl, the cup of staggering. | 17Rouse yourself! Rouse yourself! | 20Your children have fainted; they lie at every street corner, like antelope caught in a net. | 22This is what your Sovereign LORD says, your God, who defends his people: "See, I have taken out of your hand the cup that made you stagger; from that cup, the goblet of my wrath, you will never drink again. | 22Thus says your Lord, the LORD, your God who pleads the cause of his people: “Behold, I have taken from your hand the cup of staggering; the bowl of my wrath you shall drink no more; | 22Thus says your Lord, the LORD, even your God Who contends for His people, "Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of reeling, The chalice of My anger; You will never drink it again. | 22Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: | 22This is what your Lord says-- Yahweh, even your God, who defends His people--" Look, I have removed the cup of staggering from your hand; that goblet, the cup of My fury. | 23I will put it into the hands of your tormentors, who said to you, 'Fall prostrate that we may walk on you.' And you made your back like the ground, like a street to be walked on." | 23and I will put it into the hand of your tormentors, who have said to you, ‘Bow down, that we may pass over’; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.” | 23"I will put it into the hand of your tormentors, Who have said to you, 'Lie down that we may walk over you.'
