you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth.2if you are snared in the words of your mouth, caught in the words of your mouth,2If you have been snared with the words of your mouth, Have been caught with the words of your mouth,2Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.2you have been trapped by the words of your lips-- ensnared by the words of your mouth.
So do this, my son, to free yourself, since you have fallen into your neighbor's hands: Go--to the point of exhaustion-- and give your neighbor no rest!3then do this, my son, and save yourself, for you have come into the hand of your neighbor: go, hasten, and plead urgently with your neighbor.3Do this then, my son, and deliver yourself; Since you have come into the hand of your neighbor, Go, humble yourself, and importune your neighbor.3Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.3Do this, then, my son, and free yourself, for you have put yourself in your neighbor's power: Go, humble yourself, and plead with your neighbor.

For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life,23For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life,23For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light; And reproofs for discipline are the way of life23For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:23For a command is a lamp, teaching is a light, and corrective discipline is the way to life.

keeping you from your neighbor's wife, from the smooth talk of a wayward woman.24to preserve you from the evil woman, from the smooth tongue of the adulteress.24To keep you from the evil woman, From the smooth tongue of the adulteress.24To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.24They will protect you from an evil woman, from the flattering tongue of a stranger.

For a prostitute can be had for a loaf of bread, but another man's wife preys on your very life.26for the price of a prostitute is only a loaf of bread, but a married woman hunts down a precious life.26For on account of a harlot one is reduced to a loaf of bread, And an adulteress hunts for the precious life.26For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.26For a prostitute's fee is only a loaf of bread, but an adulteress goes after a precious life.
Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned?27Can a man carry fire next to his chest and his clothes not be burned?27Can a man take fire in his bosom And his clothes not be burned?27Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?27Can a man embrace fire and his clothes not be burned?
Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched?28Or can one walk on hot coals and his feet not be scorched?28Or can a man walk on hot coals And his feet not be scorched?28Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?28Can a man walk on burning coals without scorching his feet?
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
So is he who sleeps with another man's wife; no one who touches her will go unpunished.29So is he who goes in to his neighbor’s wife; none who touches her will go unpunished.29So is the one who goes in to his neighbor's wife; Whoever touches her will not go unpunished.29So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.29So it is with the one who sleeps with another man's wife; no one who touches her will go unpunished.
People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving.30People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his appetite when he is hungry,30Men do not despise a thief if he steals To satisfy himself when he is hungry;30Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;30People don't despise the thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry.
Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house.31but if he is caught, he will pay sevenfold; he will give all the goods of his house.31But when he is found, he must repay sevenfold; He must give all the substance of his house.31But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.31Still, if caught, he must pay seven times as much; he must give up all the wealth in his house.
But a man who commits adultery has no sense; whoever does so destroys himself.32He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself.32The one who commits adultery with a woman is lacking sense; He who would destroy himself does it.32But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.32The one who commits adultery lacks sense; whoever does so destroys himself.
Blows and disgrace are his lot, and his shame will never be wiped away.33He will get wounds and dishonor, and his disgrace will not be wiped away.33Wounds and disgrace he will find, And his reproach will not be blotted out.33A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.33He will get a beating and dishonor, and his disgrace will never be removed.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
For jealousy arouses a husband's fury, and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge.34For jealousy makes a man furious, and he will not spare when he takes revenge.34For jealousy enrages a man, And he will not spare in the day of vengeance.34For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.34For jealousy enrages a husband, and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge.
He will not accept any compensation; he will refuse a bribe, however great it is.35He will accept no compensation; he will refuse though you multiply gifts.35He will not accept any ransom, Nor will he be satisfied though you give many gifts.35He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.35He will not be appeased by anything or be persuaded by lavish gifts.
