And He has made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ

After Paul's salutation,

and thanksgiving for the Ephesians,

he treats of our election,

and adoption by grace;
11.
which is the true and proper fountain of man's salvation.
13.
And because the height of this mystery cannot be easily attained unto,

he prays that they may come to the full knowledge and possession thereof in Christ.
