New American Standard Bible The Thirsting Soul Satisfied in God. A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. 1O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary,
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
So I will bless You as long as I live;
My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
When I remember You on my bed,
For You have been my help,
My soul clings to You;
But those who seek my life to destroy it,
They will be delivered over to the power of the sword;
But the king will rejoice in God; New American Standard Bible Copyright © 1960, 1962, 1963, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1995 by The Lockman Foundation, La Habra, Calif. All rights reserved. For Permission to Quote Information visit http://www.lockman.org Bible Hub |
