Berean Literal Bible Paul's Greeting to the Ephesians 1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints being in Ephesus,a and faithful in Christ Jesus: 2Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Spiritual Blessings 3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the One having blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms, 4just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world for us to be holy and blameless before Him, in love 5having predestined us for divine adoption as sons to Himself through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He has freely given us in the Beloved One, 7in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His grace 8which He lavished upon us in all wisdom and understanding, 9having made known to us the mystery of His will according to His pleasure, which He purposed in Him 10for the administration of the fullness of the times, to bring together all things in Christ—the things in the heavens and the things upon the earth— 11in Him, in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of the One working all things according to the counsel of His will 12for us, the ones having first trusted in Christ, to be to the praise of His glory, 13in whom you also, having heard the word of truth, the gospel your of salvation, in whom also having believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14who is the guarantee of our inheritance to the redemption of the acquired possession, to the praise of His glory. Spiritual Wisdom 15Because of this, I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus among you, and the love toward all the saints,
do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention in my prayers,
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
the eyes your of heart being enlightened, in order for you to know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us believing according to the working of the power of His might,
which He worked in Christ, having raised Him out from the dead, and having set Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms,
above every principality and authority and power and dominion, and every name being named, not only in this age, but also in the one coming.
And He put all things under His feet and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
which is His body, the fullness of the One filling all in all. The Berean Bible www.Berean.Bible Berean Literal Bible (BLB) © 2016 by Bible Hub and Berean.Bible Used by Permission. All rights Reserved. Bible Hub |
