Offerings of Dedication
1 וַיְהִ֡י (And it came to pass), בְּיוֹם֩ (on the day) כַּלּ֨וֹת (had finished) מֹשֶׁ֜ה (Moses) לְהָקִ֣ים (setting up) אֶת־ (-) הַמִּשְׁכָּ֗ן (the tabernacle), וַיִּמְשַׁ֨ח (that he anointed) אֹת֜וֹ (it) וַיְקַדֵּ֤שׁ (and consecrated) אֹתוֹ֙ (it) וְאֶת־ (and) כָּל־ (all) כֵּלָ֔יו (its furnishings), וְאֶת־ (and) הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ (the altar) וְאֶת־ (and) כָּל־ (all) כֵּלָ֑יו (its vessels). וַיִּמְשָׁחֵ֖ם (And he anointed them) וַיְקַדֵּ֥שׁ (and consecrated) אֹתָֽם׃ (them).
2 וַיַּקְרִ֙יבוּ֙ (And made an offering) נְשִׂיאֵ֣י (the leaders) יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל (of Israel), רָאשֵׁ֖י (the heads of) בֵּ֣ית (the houses) אֲבֹתָ֑ם (of their fathers). הֵ֚ם (They were) נְשִׂיאֵ֣י (the leaders) הַמַּטֹּ֔ת (of the tribes); הֵ֥ם (these) הָעֹמְדִ֖ים (stood) עַל־ (over) הַפְּקֻדִֽים׃ (the numbered).
3 וַיָּבִ֨יאוּ (And they brought) אֶת־ (-) קָרְבָּנָ֜ם (their offering) לִפְנֵ֣י (before the face of) יְהוָ֗ה (YHWH), שֵׁשׁ־ (six) עֶגְלֹ֥ת (carts) צָב֙ (covered) וּשְׁנֵ֣י (and two) עָשָׂ֣ר (and ten) בָּקָ֔ר (oxen)— עֲגָלָ֛ה (a cart) עַל־ (for) שְׁנֵ֥י (every two) הַנְּשִׂאִ֖ים (of the leaders) וְשׁ֣וֹר (and an ox) לְאֶחָ֑ד (for each one)— וַיַּקְרִ֥יבוּ (and they presented) אוֹתָ֖ם (them) לִפְנֵ֥י (before the face of) הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ (the tabernacle).
4 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר (And spoke) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) אֶל־ (to) מֹשֶׁ֥ה (Moses), לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (saying),
5 קַ֚ח (Accept these) מֵֽאִתָּ֔ם (from them), וְהָי֕וּ (that they may be used) לַעֲבֹ֕ד (in doing) אֶת־ (-) עֲבֹדַ֖ת (the work) אֹ֣הֶל (of the Tent) מוֹעֵ֑ד (of Meeting). וְנָתַתָּ֤ה (And you shall give) אוֹתָם֙ (them) אֶל־ (to) הַלְוִיִּ֔ם (the Levites), אִ֖ישׁ (to every man) כְּפִ֥י (according to) עֲבֹדָתֽוֹ׃ (his service).
6 וַיִּקַּ֣ח (And took) מֹשֶׁ֔ה (Moses) אֶת־ (-) הָעֲגָלֹ֖ת (the carts) וְאֶת־ (and) הַבָּקָ֑ר (the oxen) וַיִּתֵּ֥ן (and gave) אוֹתָ֖ם (them) אֶל־ (to) הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ (the Levites).
7 אֵ֣ת׀ (-) שְׁתֵּ֣י (two) הָעֲגָלֹ֗ת (carts) וְאֵת֙ (and) אַרְבַּ֣עַת (four) הַבָּקָ֔ר (oxen) נָתַ֖ן (he gave) לִבְנֵ֣י (to the sons) גֵרְשׁ֑וֹן (of Gershon), כְּפִ֖י (according to) עֲבֹדָתָֽם׃ (their service),
8 וְאֵ֣ת׀ (and) אַרְבַּ֣ע (four) הָעֲגָלֹ֗ת (carts) וְאֵת֙ (and) שְׁמֹנַ֣ת (eight) הַבָּקָ֔ר (oxen) נָתַ֖ן (he gave) לִבְנֵ֣י (to the sons) מְרָרִ֑י (of Merari), כְּפִי֙ (according to) עֲבֹ֣דָתָ֔ם (their service), בְּיַד֙ (by the hand) אִֽיתָמָ֔ר (of Ithamar) בֶּֽן־ (son) אַהֲרֹ֖ן (of Aaron) הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ (the priest).
9 וְלִבְנֵ֥י (And to the sons) קְהָ֖ת (of Kohath), לֹ֣א (none) נָתָ֑ן (he gave), כִּֽי־ (because) עֲבֹדַ֤ת (the service) הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ (of the holy things) עֲלֵהֶ֔ם (was theirs): בַּכָּתֵ֖ף (On the shoulder) יִשָּֽׂאוּ׃ (they carried).
10 וַיַּקְרִ֣יבוּ (And offered) הַנְּשִׂאִ֗ים (the leaders) אֵ֚ת (-) חֲנֻכַּ֣ת (the dedication) הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ (for the altar) בְּי֖וֹם (when) הִמָּשַׁ֣ח (it was anointed), אֹת֑וֹ (-) וַיַּקְרִ֧יבוּ (and offered) הַנְּשִׂיאִ֛ם (the leaders) אֶת־ (-) קָרְבָּנָ֖ם (their offerings) לִפְנֵ֥י (before the face of) הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ (the altar).
11 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר (And for said) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) אֶל־ (to) מֹשֶׁ֑ה (Moses), נָשִׂ֨יא (The leader) אֶחָ֜ד (one) לַיּ֗וֹם (for the day), נָשִׂ֤יא (the leader) אֶחָד֙ (one) לַיּ֔וֹם (for the day), יַקְרִ֙יבוּ֙ (they shall offer) אֶת־ (-) קָרְבָּנָ֔ם (their offerings) לַחֲנֻכַּ֖ת (for the dedication) הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ס (of the altar).
12 וַיְהִ֗י (And) הַמַּקְרִ֛יב (the one who brought) בַּיּ֥וֹם (on the day) הָרִאשׁ֖וֹן (first) אֶת־ (-) קָרְבָּנ֑וֹ (his offering) נַחְשׁ֥וֹן (was Nahshon) בֶּן־ (son) עַמִּינָדָ֖ב (of Amminadab), לְמַטֵּ֥ה (from the tribe) יְהוּדָֽה׃ (of Judah):
13 וְקָרְבָּנ֞וֹ (And his offering was) קַֽעֲרַת־ (platter) כֶּ֣סֶף (silver) אַחַ֗ת (one), שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים (thirty shekels) וּמֵאָה֮ (and a hundred) מִשְׁקָלָהּ֒ (its weight); מִזְרָ֤ק (and bowl) אֶחָד֙ (one) כֶּ֔סֶף (silver) שִׁבְעִ֥ים (seventy) שֶׁ֖קֶל (shekels), בְּשֶׁ֣קֶל (according to the shekel) הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ (of the sanctuary), שְׁנֵיהֶ֣ם׀ (the two of them) מְלֵאִ֗ים (full) סֹ֛לֶת (of fine flour) בְּלוּלָ֥ה (mixed) בַשֶּׁ֖מֶן (with the oil) לְמִנְחָֽה׃ (as a grain offering);
14 כַּ֥ף (spoon) אַחַ֛ת (one) עֲשָׂרָ֥ה (ten shekels) זָהָ֖ב (gold), מְלֵאָ֥ה (full) קְטֹֽרֶת׃ (of incense);
15 פַּ֣ר (bull) אֶחָ֞ד (one) בֶּן־ (a son) בָּקָ֗ר (of the herd), אַ֧יִל (ram) אֶחָ֛ד (one), כֶּֽבֶשׂ־ (and male lamb) אֶחָ֥ד (one) בֶּן־ (a son) שְׁנָת֖וֹ (of a year), לְעֹלָֽה׃ (as a burnt offering);
16 שְׂעִיר־ (kid) עִזִּ֥ים (of the goats) אֶחָ֖ד (one), לְחַטָּֽאת׃ (as a sin offering);
17 וּלְזֶ֣בַח (and for a sacrifice) הַשְּׁלָמִים֮ (of the peace offerings), בָּקָ֣ר (oxen) שְׁנַיִם֒ (two), אֵילִ֤ם (rams) חֲמִשָּׁה֙ (five), עַתּוּדִ֣ים (male goats) חֲמִשָּׁ֔ה (five), כְּבָשִׂ֥ים (and male lambs) בְּנֵֽי־ (sons) שָׁנָ֖ה (of a year) חֲמִשָּׁ֑ה (five). זֶ֛ה (This) קָרְבַּ֥ן (was the offering) נַחְשׁ֖וֹן (of Nahshon) בֶּן־ (son) עַמִּינָדָֽב׃פ (of Amminadab).
18 בַּיּוֹם֙ (On the day) הַשֵּׁנִ֔י (second), הִקְרִ֖יב (drew near) נְתַנְאֵ֣ל (Nethanel) בֶּן־ (son) צוּעָ֑ר (of Zuar), נְשִׂ֖יא (the leader) יִשָּׂשכָֽר׃ (of Issachar):
19 הִקְרִ֨ב (He brought near) אֶת־ (-) קָרְבָּנ֜וֹ (his offering), קַֽעֲרַת־ (platter) כֶּ֣סֶף (silver) אַחַ֗ת (one) שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים (thirty shekels) וּמֵאָה֮ (and a hundred) מִשְׁקָלָהּ֒ (its weight), מִזְרָ֤ק (and bowl) אֶחָד֙ (one) כֶּ֔סֶף (silver) שִׁבְעִ֥ים (seventy) שֶׁ֖קֶל (shekels) בְּשֶׁ֣קֶל (according to the shekel) הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ (of the sanctuary), שְׁנֵיהֶ֣ם׀ (the two of them) מְלֵאִ֗ים (full) סֹ֛לֶת (of fine flour) בְּלוּלָ֥ה (mixed) בַשֶּׁ֖מֶן (with the oil) לְמִנְחָֽה׃ (as a grain offering);
20 כַּ֥ף (spoon) אַחַ֛ת (one) עֲשָׂרָ֥ה (ten shekels) זָהָ֖ב (gold), מְלֵאָ֥ה (full) קְטֹֽרֶת׃ (of incense);
21 פַּ֣ר (bull) אֶחָ֞ד (one) בֶּן־ (a son) בָּקָ֗ר (of the herd), אַ֧יִל (ram) אֶחָ֛ד (one), כֶּֽבֶשׂ־ (and male lamb) אֶחָ֥ד (one) בֶּן־ (a son) שְׁנָת֖וֹ (of a year), לְעֹלָֽה׃ (as a burnt offering);
22 שְׂעִיר־ (kid) עִזִּ֥ים (of the goats) אֶחָ֖ד (one) לְחַטָּֽאת׃ (as a sin offering);
23 וּלְזֶ֣בַח (and for a sacrifice) הַשְּׁלָמִים֮ (of the peace offerings), בָּקָ֣ר (oxen) שְׁנַיִם֒ (two), אֵילִ֤ם (rams) חֲמִשָּׁה֙ (five), עַתּוּדִ֣ים (male goats) חֲמִשָּׁ֔ה (five), כְּבָשִׂ֥ים (and male lambs) בְּנֵי־ (sons) שָׁנָ֖ה (of a year) חֲמִשָּׁ֑ה (five). זֶ֛ה (This) קָרְבַּ֥ן (was the offering) נְתַנְאֵ֖ל (of Nethanel) בֶּן־ (son) צוּעָֽר׃פ (of Zuar).
24 בַּיּוֹם֙ (On the day) הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י (third) נָשִׂ֖יא (the leader) לִבְנֵ֣י (of the sons) זְבוּלֻ֑ן (of Zebulun), אֱלִיאָ֖ב (Eliab) בֶּן־ (son) חֵלֹֽן׃ (of Helon):
25 קָרְבָּנ֞וֹ (His offering was) קַֽעֲרַת־ (platter) כֶּ֣סֶף (silver) אַחַ֗ת (one) שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים (thirty shekels) וּמֵאָה֮ (and a hundred) מִשְׁקָלָהּ֒ (its weight), מִזְרָ֤ק (and bowl) אֶחָד֙ (one) כֶּ֔סֶף (silver) שִׁבְעִ֥ים (seventy) שֶׁ֖קֶל (shekels) בְּשֶׁ֣קֶל (according to the shekel) הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ (of the sanctuary), שְׁנֵיהֶ֣ם׀ (the two of them) מְלֵאִ֗ים (full) סֹ֛לֶת (of fine flour) בְּלוּלָ֥ה (mixed) בַשֶּׁ֖מֶן (with the oil) לְמִנְחָֽה׃ (as a grain offering);
26 כַּ֥ף (spoon) אַחַ֛ת (one) עֲשָׂרָ֥ה (ten shekels) זָהָ֖ב (gold), מְלֵאָ֥ה (full) קְטֹֽרֶת׃ (of incense);
27 פַּ֣ר (bull) אֶחָ֞ד (one) בֶּן־ (a son) בָּקָ֗ר (of the herd), אַ֧יִל (ram) אֶחָ֛ד (one), כֶּֽבֶשׂ־ (and male lamb) אֶחָ֥ד (one) בֶּן־ (a son) שְׁנָת֖וֹ (of a year), לְעֹלָֽה׃ (as a burnt offering);

29 וּלְזֶ֣בַח (and for a sacrifice) הַשְּׁלָמִים֮ (of the peace offerings), בָּקָ֣ר (oxen) שְׁנַיִם֒ (two), אֵילִ֤ם (rams) חֲמִשָּׁה֙ (five), עַתֻּדִ֣ים (male goats) חֲמִשָּׁ֔ה (five), כְּבָשִׂ֥ים (and male lambs) בְּנֵי־ (sons) שָׁנָ֖ה (of a year) חֲמִשָּׁ֑ה (five). זֶ֛ה (This) קָרְבַּ֥ן (was the offering) אֱלִיאָ֖ב (of Eliab) בֶּן־ (son) חֵלֹֽן׃פ (of Helon).
30 בַּיּוֹם֙ (On the day) הָרְבִיעִ֔י (fourth) נָשִׂ֖יא (the leader) לִבְנֵ֣י (of the sons) רְאוּבֵ֑ן (of Reuben), אֱלִיצ֖וּר (Elizur) בֶּן־ (son) שְׁדֵיאֽוּר׃ (of Shedeur):

36 בַּיּוֹם֙ (On the day) הַחֲמִישִׁ֔י (fifth) נָשִׂ֖יא (the leader) לִבְנֵ֣י (of the sons) שִׁמְע֑וֹן (of Simeon), שְׁלֻֽמִיאֵ֖ל (Shelumiel) בֶּן־ (son) צוּרִֽישַׁדָּֽי׃ (of Zurishaddai):

42 בַּיּוֹם֙ (On the day) הַשִּׁשִּׁ֔י (sixth) נָשִׂ֖יא (the leader) לִבְנֵ֣י (of the sons) גָ֑ד (of Gad), אֶלְיָסָ֖ף (Eliasaph) בֶּן־ (son) דְּעוּאֵֽל׃ (of Deuel):

48 בַּיּוֹם֙ (On the day) הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י (seventh) נָשִׂ֖יא (the leader) לִבְנֵ֣י (of the sons) אֶפְרָ֑יִם (of Ephraim), אֱלִֽישָׁמָ֖ע (Elishama) בֶּן־ (son) עַמִּיהֽוּד׃ (of Ammihud):

54 בַּיּוֹם֙ (On the day) הַשְּׁמִינִ֔י (eighth) נָשִׂ֖יא (the leader) לִבְנֵ֣י (of the sons) מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה (of Manasseh); גַּמְלִיאֵ֖ל (Gamaliel) בֶּן־ (son) פְּדָה־ (of Pedah-) צֽוּר׃ (zur):
55 קָרְבָּנ֞וֹ (His offering was) קַֽעֲרַת־ (platter) כֶּ֣סֶף (silver) אַחַ֗ת (one) שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים (thirty shekels) וּמֵאָה֮ (and a hundred) מִשְׁקָלָהּ֒ (its weight), מִזְרָ֤ק (and bowl) אֶחָד֙ (one) כֶּ֔סֶף (silver) שִׁבְעִ֥ים (seventy) שֶׁ֖קֶל (shekels) בְּשֶׁ֣קֶל (according to the shekel) הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ (of the sanctuary), שְׁנֵיהֶ֣ם׀ (the two of them) מְלֵאִ֗ים (full) סֹ֛לֶת (of fine flour) בְּלוּלָ֥ה (mixed) בַשֶּׁ֖מֶן (with the oil) לְמִנְחָֽה (as a grain offering);

84 זֹ֣את׀ (This) חֲנֻכַּ֣ת (was the dedication for) הַמִּזְבֵּ֗חַ (the altar), בְּיוֹם֙ (in the day) הִמָּשַׁ֣ח (it was anointed) אֹת֔וֹ (-): מֵאֵ֖ת (From) נְשִׂיאֵ֣י (the leaders) יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל (of Israel) קַעֲרֹ֨ת (platters) כֶּ֜סֶף (silver) שְׁתֵּ֣ים (two) עֶשְׂרֵ֗ה (and ten), מִֽזְרְקֵי־ (bowls) כֶ֙סֶף֙ (silver) שְׁנֵ֣ים (two) עָשָׂ֔ר (and ten), כַּפּ֥וֹת (and spoons) זָהָ֖ב (gold) שְׁתֵּ֥ים (two) עֶשְׂרֵֽה׃ (and ten).
85 שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים (Thirty shekels) וּמֵאָ֗ה (and a hundred was) הַקְּעָרָ֤ה (was the platter) הָֽאַחַת֙ (one) כֶּ֔סֶף (silver), וְשִׁבְעִ֖ים (and seventy shekels) הַמִּזְרָ֣ק (bowl) הָאֶחָ֑ד (the one). כֹּ֚ל (All) כֶּ֣סֶף (the silver) הַכֵּלִ֔ים (of the vessels were) אַלְפַּ֥יִם (two thousand) וְאַרְבַּע־ (and four) מֵא֖וֹת (hundred shekels), בְּשֶׁ֥קֶל (according to the shekel) הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ (of the sanctuary).
86 כַּפּ֨וֹת (The pans) זָהָ֤ב (gold were) שְׁתֵּים־ (two) עֶשְׂרֵה֙ (and ten), מְלֵאֹ֣ת (full) קְטֹ֔רֶת (of incense), עֲשָׂרָ֧ה (ten) עֲשָׂרָ֛ה (by ten shekels apiece) הַכַּ֖ף (of the dishes), בְּשֶׁ֣קֶל (according to the shekel) הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ (of the sanctuary), כָּל־ (all) זְהַ֥ב (the gold) הַכַּפּ֖וֹת (of the spoons) עֶשְׂרִ֥ים (were twenty) וּמֵאָֽה׃ (and a hundred shekels).
87 כָּל־ (All) הַבָּקָ֨ר (the oxen) לָעֹלָ֜ה (for the burnt offering) שְׁנֵ֧ים (were two) עָשָׂ֣ר (and ten) פָּרִ֗ים (young bulls), אֵילִ֤ם (rams) שְׁנֵים־ (two) עָשָׂר֙ (and ten), כְּבָשִׂ֧ים (male lambs) בְּנֵֽי־ (sons) שָׁנָ֛ה (of a year) שְׁנֵ֥ים (two) עָשָׂ֖ר (and ten), וּמִנְחָתָ֑ם (and with their grain offerings) וּשְׂעִירֵ֥י (and the kids) עִזִּ֛ים (of the goats) שְׁנֵ֥ים (two) עָשָׂ֖ר (and ten) לְחַטָּֽאת׃ (as a sin offering).
88 וְכֹ֞ל (And all) בְּקַ֣ר׀ (the oxen) זֶ֣בַח (for the sacrifice) הַשְּׁלָמִ֗ים (of the peace offerings) עֶשְׂרִ֣ים (were twenty) וְאַרְבָּעָה֮ (and four) פָּרִים֒ (bulls), אֵילִ֤ם (rams) שִׁשִּׁים֙ (sixty), עַתֻּדִ֣ים (male goats) שִׁשִּׁ֔ים (sixty), כְּבָשִׂ֥ים (and lambs) בְּנֵי־ (sons) שָׁנָ֖ה (of a year) שִׁשִּׁ֑ים (sixty). זֹ֚את (This was) חֲנֻכַּ֣ת (the dedication) הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ (for the altar) אַחֲרֵ֖י (after) הִמָּשַׁ֥ח (was anointed) אֹתֽוֹ׃ (it).
89 וּבְבֹ֨א (And went) מֹשֶׁ֜ה (Moses) אֶל־ (into) אֹ֣הֶל (the Tent) מוֹעֵד֮ (of Meeting) לְדַבֵּ֣ר (to speak) אִתּוֹ֒ (with Him), וַיִּשְׁמַ֨ע (and he heard) אֶת־ (-) הַקּ֜וֹל (the voice) מִדַּבֵּ֣ר (speaking) אֵלָ֗יו (to him) מֵעַ֤ל (from above) הַכַּפֹּ֙רֶת֙ (the mercy seat) אֲשֶׁר֙ (that was) עַל־ (on) אֲרֹ֣ן (the ark) הָעֵדֻ֔ת (of the Testimony), מִבֵּ֖ין (from between) שְׁנֵ֣י (two) הַכְּרֻבִ֑ים (the cherubim). וַיְדַבֵּ֖ר (And He spoke) אֵלָֽיו׃פ (to him).
