ὡσαύτως (ὡς and αὔτως), adverb (as a single word, Post-Homeric), in like manner, likewise: put after the verb, Matthew 20:5; Matthew 21:30, 36; put before the verb, Mark 14:31; Luke 13:3 (here L T Tr WH ὁμοίως), 5 (T Tr text WH); Romans 8:26; 1 Timothy 5:25; Titus 2:6; as often in Greek writings the verb must be supplied from the preceding context, Matthew 25:17; Mark 12:21; Luke 20:31; Luke 22:20 (WH reject the passage); 1 Corinthians 11:25; 1 Timothy 2:9 (namely, βούλομαι, cf. 8); (namely, δεῖ, cf. 7), 11; Titus 2:3 (namely, πρέπει εἶναι).
