1Now regarding the collection of money for the saints (God’s people) in Jerusalem: do as I have told the Galatian churches to do. 2On the first day of every week, let everyone set aside a portion of their income, as God has prospered them, so that there is no need to gather it when I come. 3And when I arrive, I will give letters of commendation to whomever you shall choose, and then send them with your gift to Jerusalem. 4And if it seems advisable that I go also, they shall accompany me. 5I will come to you, after I go through Macedonia; for I plan to travel through Macedonia. 6Or perhaps I will stay, and winter with you, so that you may help me along on my journey, wherever I go. 7For I do not want my visit with you to be short; but I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits. 8But I will stay at Ephesus until Pentecost. 9Because a great door of opportunity has opened for effectual work there; but there are also many who oppose me. 10When Timothy comes, see that you put him at ease; for he is doing the work of the Lord, just as I do. 11Let no one treat him with contempt; but send him on his way in peace, so that he may return to me; for I am expecting him along with other believers. 12Now regarding our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers; but he was not willing to go right now; but he will come when he has opportunity. 13Be on your guard and stand firm in the faith, be courageous and strong. 14Do everything with love. 15You know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints. I urge you, brothers and sisters, 16To be subject to such people, and to anyone that joins us and helps with the work and labors at it. 17I was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus arrived; for they have supplied anything that was lacking from you. 18And they have encouraged and refreshed my spirit, and yours, also. Therefore, they deserve recognition. 19The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord, as does the church that meets in their house. 20All the brothers and sisters here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss. 21The salutation of me, Paul, by my own hand. 22If any man does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maran-atha (cursed). 23The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. 24My love to all of you in Christ Jesus.
