1 But you, speak the things that are fitting for sound teaching. 2 Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, sound-minded, being sound in faith, in love, in endurance; 3 older women likewise reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not being enslaved to much wine, teachers of good, 4 so that they may make sober-minded the young women to be lovers of their husbands, lovers of their children, 5 sound-minded, pure, keepers at home, good, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God may not be blasphemed. 6 Likewise, exhort the younger men to be sound-minded. 7 Concerning all things, be holding forth yourself as a pattern of good works, in the teaching, incorruptibility, dignity, 8 sound speech, uncondemnable, so that the one of the contrary should be ashamed, having nothing evil to say concerning us. 9 Slaves are to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not contradicting, 10 not pilfering, but demonstrating all good faithfulness, so that they may adorn the teaching of God our Savior in all things. 11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, 12 instructing us that having denied ungodliness and worldly passions, we should live sound-mindedly and righteously and godlily in the present age, Titus 2:1-12, Berean Literal Bible.
