20 I have found David My servant; with the oil of My holiness I anointed him, 21 with whom My hand is established—My arm also will strengthen him. 22 The enemy will not exact tribute from him, and a son of wickedness shall not afflict him. 23 And I will crush his foes before his face, and those hating him I will strike. 24 And My faithfulness and My loving devotion are with him, and in My name his horn will be exalted. 25 And I will set his hand over the sea, and his right hand over the rivers. 26 He will call to Me, ‘You are My Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’ 27 I also appoint him firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.
