1 A song. A Psalm of Asaph. O God, keep no silence to You; do not be silent, and do not be still, O God. 2 For behold, Your enemies roar, and those hating You have lifted up the head. 3 Against Your people, they act with cunning counsel, and they take counsel together against Your treasured ones. 4 They say, “Come, and we shall make them disappear as a nation, and the name of Israel will not be remembered anymore.” 5 For, they consulted together in heart; they cut an alliance against You— 6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites, 7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with those dwelling in Tyre. 8 Assyria also has joined with them; they have become an arm for the sons of Lot. Selah 9 may You do to them as to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the River Kishon. 10 They perished at Endor; they became dung for the earth! 11 Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, and like Zebah, and like Zalmunna—all their princes— Psalms 83:1-11, Berean Literal Bible.
