3 The voice of YHWH is upon the waters; the God of glory thunders—YHWH is over many waters.

4 The voice of YHWH is with power, the voice of YHWH is with majesty.

5 The voice of YHWH breaks the cedars, and YHWH shatters the cedars of Lebanon.

6 He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, and Sirion like the son of a wild ox.

7 The voice of YHWH is hewing flames of fire.

8 The voice of YHWH causes the wilderness to writhe; YHWH causes the wilderness of Kadesh to writhe.

9 The voice of YHWH twists the oaks, and strips bare the forests—and in His temple all of it is saying, “Glory!”
