Psalms 2:4-12 ▼

4 The One sitting in the heavens laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.

5 Then He speaks to them in His anger, and in his fury He terrifies them:

6 “And I have installed My King on Zion, the mountain of My holiness.”

7 I will recount the decree of YHWH; He has said to Me: “You are My Son; today I have begotten You.

8 Ask from Me and I will give the nations as Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.

9 You will break them with a rod of iron; You will shatter them like a vessel of a potter.”

10 And now, O kings, be prudent; be admonished, O judges of the earth.

11 Serve YHWH with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you? perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled in an instant. Blessed are all those taking refuge in Him.
