Therefore if you have any encouragement in Christ (the Anointed One), if any comfort from His love {agapēs}, if any fellowship {koinōnia} with the Spirit {Pneumatos}, if any affection and compassion,

then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love {agapēn}, being united in spirit and purpose.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.

Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Let this mind be in you⁺ which was also in Christ (the Anointed One) Jesus (YHWH saves):

Who, existing in the form of God {Theou}, did not consider equality with God {Theō} something to be grasped (something to be exploited),

but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant {doulou}, being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross.

Therefore God {Theos} exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names,

that at the name of Jesus (YHWH saves) every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

and every tongue (language) confess that Jesus (YHWH saves) Christ (the Anointed One) is Lord {KYRIOS}, to the glory {doxan} of God {Theou} the Father.

Therefore, my beloved {agapētoi}, just as you⁺ have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

For it is God {Theos} who works in you⁺ to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.
