21 "Ye heard that it was said to the ancients, 'You shall not kill; and whosoever kills shall be in danger of the judgment.' 22 But I say to you that every one who is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever says to his brother Raca shall be in danger of the high-council; and whosoever shall say, O foolish one ! shall be in danger of the Hell of fire. 23 If, therefore, you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has ought against you, 24 leave there your gift before the altar, and go your way, first be reconciled to your brother, and then, coming, offer your gift.
