24 Saying: Maister, Moyses sayde, that if a man dye, hauing no childre, his brother shoulde mary his wyfe, and rayse vp seede vnto his brother. 25 Ther were with vs seuen brethren, and the first maryed a wyfe, and deceassed without issue, and left his wyfe vnto his brother. 26 Likewyse, the seconde, and the thirde, vnto the seuenth. 27 Last of all, the woman dyed also. 28 Therfore, in the resurrection, whose wyfe shall she be of the seuen? For they all had her. 29 Iesus aunswered & sayde vnto them: ye do erre, not knowyng the Scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection, they neither mary, nor are geuen in maryage: but are as the Angels of God in heauen.
