1 And calling His twelve disciples, He gave them power over unclean spirits, so as to cast them out, and heal every disease, and every malady. 2 And these are the names of the apostles: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alpheus, and Lebbeus called Thaddeus; 4 Simon the Zealot; and Judas Iscariot, the one also having betrayed Him. 5 And Jesus sent out the twelve, commanding them, Go not in the way of the Gentiles, and enter not into a city of the Samaritans. 6 But go ye rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And going, preach, saying, That the kingdom of the heavens is at hand.
