7 And the scribes and the Pharisees were watching if he would heal on the sabbath, that they might find something of which to accuse him. 8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, Get up, and stand in the midst. And having risen up he stood [there]. 9 Jesus therefore said to them, I will ask you if it is lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy [it]? 10 And having looked around on them all, he said to him, Stretch out thy hand. And he did [so] and his hand was restored as the other. 11 But they were filled with madness, and they spoke together among themselves what they should do to Jesus.
