Par

NOW the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the passover, was at hand.

And the high priests and the scribes sought how to kill him; but they were afraid of the people.

But Satan had taken possession of Judas who is called of Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve.

So he went away, and spoke with the high priests and the scribes and officers of the temple, about delivering him to them.

And they were glad and promised to give him money.

And he agreed with them, and sought an opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the people.

Then the day of unleavened bread came, on which it was the custom to kill the passover lamb.

So Jesus sent Peter and John, and said to them, Go and prepare the passover for us to eat.

They said to him, Where do you wish us to prepare?

He said to them, Behold, when you enter the city, you will meet a man carrying a skin full of water; follow him. And wherever he enters,

Say to the master of the house, Our Teacher says, Where is the guest room, where I may eat the passover with my disciples?

And behold, he will show you an upper room, large and furnished; there make ready.
