Or if a soul swears, to utter with his lips to do evil or to do good, according to all that the man utters by an oath, and it is hidden from him, and he realizes it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.

And it shall be, when he is guilty in one of these, that he shall confess that he has sinned in it.

And he shall bring his guilt offering to YHWH for his sin that he has sinned: A female from the flock, a lamb or a female kid of the goats, for a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement upon him from his sin.

And if his hand does not reach to the sufficiency of a lamb, then he shall bring for his guilt offering that he has sinned—two turtledoves or two sons of a pigeon to YHWH, one for a sin offering and one for a burnt offering.

And he shall bring them to the priest, and he shall bring near that which is for the sin offering first, and he shall wring off its head from its neck, and he shall not divide it completely.

And he shall sprinkle from the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, and the remainder of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.

And the second he shall do as a burnt offering, according to the ordinance. And the priest shall make atonement upon him from his sin that he has sinned, and it shall be forgiven for him.

And if his hand does not reach to two turtledoves or to two sons of a pigeon, then he shall bring near for his offering that he has sinned a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering. He shall not put oil on it, and he shall not put frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.

And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take from it the fullness of his handful, its memorial portion, and he shall burn it on the altar, on the fire offerings to YHWH; it is a sin offering.

And the priest shall make atonement upon him, upon his sin that he has sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven for him. And the remainder shall be for the priest, like the grain offering.”

And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

“If a soul acts unfaithfully—an unfaithfulness—and sins in error from the holy things of YHWH, then he shall bring his guilt offering to YHWH: an unblemished ram of the flock, in your valuation of silver shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt offering.

And for that which he has sinned from the holy thing he shall repay, and its fifth he shall add on it, and he shall give it to the priest. And the priest shall make atonement upon him with the ram of the guilt offering, and it shall be forgiven for him.

And if a soul sins and does one from all the commandments of YHWH which are not to be done, and he has not known, and he is guilty, then he shall bear his iniquity.

And he shall bring an unblemished ram from the flock, in your valuation, for a guilt offering to the priest. And the priest shall make atonement upon him regarding his error in which he erred and he did not know it, and it shall be forgiven for him.

It is a guilt offering; he was surely guilty against YHWH.”
