1 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: You⁺ shall be holy, for I am holy—YHWH your⁺ God. 3 Each man shall fear his mother and his father, and you⁺ shall keep My Sabbaths. I am YHWH your⁺ God. 4 You⁺ shall not turn to the idols, and you⁺ shall not make molten gods for yourselves. I am YHWH your⁺ God. 5 And when you⁺ sacrifice a sacrifice of peace offerings to YHWH, you⁺ shall sacrifice it for your⁺ acceptance. 6 It shall be eaten on the day of your⁺ sacrificing and on the next day. and the remainder until the third day, it shall be burned in the fire. 7 And if any of it is eaten on the third day, it is an abomination; it shall not be accepted.
