From the day that your? fathers came from the land of Egypt, until this day, I have even sent to you? all My servants the prophets, each day rising up early and sending them.

And they did not listen to Me, and they did not incline their ear, and they stiffened their neck—they did worse than their fathers!

And you shall speak to them all these words, and they will not listen to you; and you shall call to them, and they will not answer you.

And you shall say to them: ‘This is a nation that does not listen to the voice of YHWH their God, and it does not receive correction; the truth has perished and is cut off from their mouth.

Cut off your consecrated hair and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on the barren heights; for YHWH has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath!’

For the sons of Judah have done evil in My eyes, a declaration of YHWH; they have set their abominations in the house over which My name is called, to defile it.

And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire—which I did not command, and it did not come into My heart!

Therefore, behold, the days are coming, a declaration of YHWH, and it will no longer called Tophet, or the Valley of the son of Hinnom, but instead the Valley of Slaughter, and they will bury in Tophet until there is no room!

The corpses of this people will be for food for the birds of the heavens and for the beast of the earth, and there will no one to scare them away.

And I will cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride—for the land will be for a desolation.”
