Therefore, behold, I will comfort her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak lovingly to her.

And I will give her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor that it may open her understanding; and she shall be humbled there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

And it shall be on that day, says the LORD, that you shall call me, my husband, and shall call me no more Baali.

For I will take away the name of Baal out of her mouth, and they shall no more remember his name.

And on that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of the air and with the creeping things of the ground; and I will do away with the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and I will make them to dwell in safety.

And I will betroth you to me for ever; yea, I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice and in lovingkindness and in mercy.

So I will betroth you to me in faithfulness; and you shall know the LORD.

And it shall come to pass on that day, says the LORD, I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth;

And the earth shall answer the grain and the wine and the oil; and they shall answer Jezreel.

And I will sow her for myself in the earth; and I will have mercy on La-ethrakhmath, not beloved, and I will call La-ammi, not my people, Ammi, my people, and they shall say, Thou art my God.
