21 And Enoch lived five and sixty years, and he begat Methuselah. 22 And Enoch walked with God after his begetting Methuselah three hundred years, and he begat sons and daughters. 23 And all the days of Enoch were five and sixty years and three hundred years. 24 And Enoch walked with God, and he was no more, for God had taken him. 25 And Methuselah lived seven and eighty years and a hundred years, and he begat Lamech. 26 And Methuselah lived after his begetting Lamech two and eighty years and seven hundred years, and he begat sons and daughters. 27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine and sixty years and nine hundred years, and he died. 28 And Lamech lived two and eighty years and a hundred years, and he begat a son. 29 And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one shall give us comfort from our work and from the toil of our hands on account of the ground that YHWH has cursed.” 30 And Lamech lived after his begetting Noah five and ninety years and five hundred years, and he begat sons and daughters. 31 And all the days of Lamech were seven and seventy years and seven hundred years, and he died. 32 Noah was a son of five hundred years, and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
