19 And God said, “Sarah your wife surely will bear to you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac. And I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him. 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him and I will make him fruitful and will multiply him greatly, greatly. Two and ten princes He shall beget, and I will make him into a great nation. 21 And I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this appointed time in the next year.” 22 And He finished speaking with him, and God went up from Abraham. 23 And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all who were born in his house, and all who were bought with his silver—every male among the men in the house of Abraham—and he circumcised the flesh of their foreskins on that very day, as God had spoken with him. 24 And Abraham was a son of ninety-nine years when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. 25 And Ishmael his son was a son of three and ten years when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. 26 And on that very day Abraham was circumcised, and Ishmael his son, 27 and all the men of his house—born in the house or bought with silver from a son of a foreigner—were circumcised with him.
