4 And they will destroy the walls of Tyre, and they will throw down her towers; and I will scrape her dust from her, and will give her as a clear place of a rock. 5 She will be a spreading place of nets in the midst of the sea—for I have spoken, says the Lord YHWH—and she will become as plunder for the nations, 6 and her daughters who are on her mainland will be slain by the sword, and they will know that I am YHWH.’ 7 For thus says the Lord YHWH: ‘Behold, I am bringing against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the north, the king of kings, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, even an assembly, and a numerous people. 8 Your daughters on the mainland he will slay with the sword, and he will set against you a siege mound, and he will build against you a wall and raise against you a buckler; 9 and the blow of his battering ram he will place against your walls, and your towers he will tear down with his swords.
