For the choir director. A psalm of the sons of Korah. LORD, you showed favor to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. LORD, you were favorable to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. You, LORD, showed favor to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
You forgave your people’s guilt; you covered all their sin. Selah You forgave the iniquity of your people; you covered all their sin. Selah You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins.
You withdrew all your fury; you turned from your burning anger. You withdrew all your wrath; you turned from your hot anger. You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger.
Return to us, God of our salvation, and abandon your displeasure with us. Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away your indignation toward us! Restore us again, God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us.
Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger for all generations? Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger to all generations? Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
Will you not revive us again so that your people may rejoice in you? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
Show us your faithful love, LORD, and give us your salvation. Show us your steadfast love, O LORD, and grant us your salvation. Show us your unfailing love, LORD, and grant us your salvation.
I will listen to what God will say; surely the LORD will declare peace to his people, his faithful ones, and not let them go back to foolish ways. Let me hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly. I will listen to what God the LORD says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants— but let them not turn to folly.
His salvation is very near those who fear him, so that glory may dwell in our land. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land. Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.
Faithful love and truth will join together; righteousness and peace will embrace. Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Truth will spring up from the earth, and righteousness will look down from heaven. Faithfulness springs up from the ground, and righteousness looks down from the sky. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.
Also, the LORD will provide what is good, and our land will yield its crops. Yes, the LORD will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.
Righteousness will go before him to prepare the way for his steps. Righteousness will go before him and make his footsteps a way. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.
