For the one directing. Of the sons of Korah a Psalm. You have shown favor, O YHWH, to Your land; You have turned back the captivity of Jacob. LORD, you were favorable to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. You, LORD, showed favor to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
You have borne away the iniquity of Your people; You have covered all their sin. Selah You forgave the iniquity of your people; you covered all their sin. Selah You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins.
You have gathered up all Your fury; You have turned from the burning of Your anger. You withdrew all your wrath; you turned from your hot anger. You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger.
Restore us, O God of our salvation, and Your anger toward us cause to cease! Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away your indignation toward us! Restore us again, God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us.
Will You be angry with us forever? Will You draw out Your anger to generation and generation? Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger to all generations? Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
Will You not turn back and revive us, that Your people may rejoice in You? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
Show us, O YHWH, Your loving devotion, and give to us Your salvation! Show us your steadfast love, O LORD, and grant us your salvation. Show us your unfailing love, LORD, and grant us your salvation.
Let me hear what my God YHWH will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His holy ones; He will not let them return to folly. Let me hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly. I will listen to what God the LORD says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants— but let them not turn to folly.
Surely His salvation is near to those fearing Him, that glory may dwell in our land. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land. Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.
Loving devotion and faithfulness have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from the heavens. Faithfulness springs up from the ground, and righteousness looks down from the sky. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.
Indeed YHWH will give that which is good, and our land will give forth its produce. Yes, the LORD will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.
Righteousness will go before Him, to prepare the way of His steps. Righteousness will go before him and make his footsteps a way. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.
