Chanting of David. Jehovah my shepherd, and I shall not want. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. A psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He will cause me to lie down in pastures of tender grass: he will lead me to the water of rest. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
He will turn back my soul: he will guide me into the tracks of justice for sake of his name. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
Also if I shall go into the valley of the shadow of death, I shall not be afraid of evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they will comfort me. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Thou wilt set in order a table before me in front of mine enemies: thou madest fat mine head with oil; my cup being satisfied with drink. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy, shall pursue me all the days of my life: and I dwelt in the house of Jehovah to the length of days. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
