Unto the end. A psalm for David. May the Lord hear thee in the day of tribulation: may the name of the God of Jacob protect thee. May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! For the director of music. A psalm of David. May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send thee help from the sanctuary: and defend thee out of Sion. May he send you help from the sanctuary and give you support from Zion! May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.
May he be mindful of all thy sacrifices: and may thy whole burnt offering be made fat. May he remember all your offerings and regard with favor your burnt sacrifices! Selah May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.
May he give thee according to thy own heart; and confirm all thy counsels. May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans! May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
We will rejoice in thy salvation; and in the name of our God we shall be exalted. The Lord fulfil all thy petitions: now have I known that the Lord hath saved his anointed. He will hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is in powers. May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions! May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests.
The Lord fulfil all thy petitions: now have I known that the Lord hath saved his anointed. He will hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is in powers. Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. Now this I know: The LORD gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will call upon the name of the Lord our God. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
They are bound, and have fallen; but we are risen, and are set upright. O Lord, save the king: and hear us in the day that we shall call upon thee. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.
They are bound, and have fallen; but we are risen, and are set upright. O Lord, save the king: and hear us in the day that we shall call upon thee. O LORD, save the king! May he answer us when we call. LORD, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call!
