Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song. Sing his praises in the assembly of the faithful. Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly! Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of his faithful people.
O Israel, rejoice in your Maker. O people of Jerusalem, exult in your King. Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King! Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
Praise his name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp. Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre! Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
For the LORD delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.
Let the faithful rejoice that he honors them. Let them sing for joy as they lie on their beds. Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds.
Let the praises of God be in their mouths, and a sharp sword in their hands— Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands,
to execute vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples, to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,
to bind their kings with shackles and their leaders with iron chains, to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron,
to execute the judgment written against them. This is the glorious privilege of his faithful ones. Praise the LORD! to execute on them the judgment written! This is honor for all his godly ones. Praise the LORD! to carry out the sentence written against them— this is the glory of all his faithful people. Praise the LORD.
