1 Praise Yah! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and praise is becoming. Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting. Praise the LORD. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2 Yahweh builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the outcasts of Israel. The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel.

8 He is the One who covers the heavens with clouds, The One who provides rain for the earth, The One who makes grass to sprout on the mountains, He covers the heavens with clouds; he prepares rain for the earth; he makes grass grow on the hills. He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills.
9 Who gives to the animal its food, And to the young ravens which call out. He gives to the beasts their food, and to the young ravens that cry. He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call.
10 He does not delight in the might of the horse; He does not take pleasure in the legs of a man. His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man, His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior;
11 Yahweh is pleased with those who fear Him, Those who wait for His lovingkindness. but the LORD takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love. the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.
12 Laud Yahweh, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! Extol the LORD, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion.
13 For He strengthened the bars of your gates; He blessed your sons within you. For he strengthens the bars of your gates; he blesses your children within you. He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you.
14 He is the One who sets peace in your borders, He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat, He makes peace in your borders; he fills you with the finest of the wheat. He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.
15 The One who sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly, He sends out his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly. He sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly.

17 Who casts forth His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold? He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs; who can stand before his cold? He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can withstand his icy blast?

20 He has not done so with any nation; So as for His judgments, they have not known them. Praise Yah! He has not dealt thus with any other nation; they do not know his rules. Praise the LORD! He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws. Praise the LORD.
