From the depths of despair, O LORD, I call for your help. Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer. O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive? If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you. But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn. my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows. O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
He himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin. And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities. He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
