Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Lord: Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
Lord, hear my voice. Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication. O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities: Lord, who shall stand it. If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of thy law, I have waited for thee, O Lord. My soul hath relied on his word: But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
my soul hath hoped in the Lord. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord. my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
Because with the Lord there is mercy: and with him plentiful redemption. O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities. He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
