They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Sion: he shall not be moved for ever that dwelleth Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. A song of ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
in Jerusalem. Mountains are round about it: so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth now and for ever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
For the Lord will not leave the rod of sinners upon the lot of the just: that the just may not stretch forth their hands to iniquity. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous stretch out their hands to do wrong. The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil.
Do good, O Lord, to those that are good, and to the upright of heart. Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts! LORD, do good to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart.
But such as turn aside into bonds, the Lord shall lead out with the workers of iniquity: peace upon Israel. But those who turn aside to their crooked ways the LORD will lead away with evildoers! Peace be upon Israel! But those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers. Peace be on Israel.
