I have lifted up my eyes to the mountains, from whence help shall come to me. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?
My help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
May he not suffer thy foot to be moved: neither let him slumber that keepeth thee. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;
Behold he shall neither slumber nor sleep, that keepeth Israel. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy protection upon thy right hand. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
The sun shall not burn thee by day: nor the moon by night. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord keepeth thee from all evil: may the Lord keep thy soul. The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;
May the Lord keep thy going in and thy going out; from henceforth now and for ever. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore. the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
