1 Praise Yah! Praise, O slaves of Yahweh, Praise the name of Yahweh. Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD! Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, you his servants; praise the name of the LORD.
2 May the name of Yahweh be blessed From now until forever. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and forevermore! Let the name of the LORD be praised, both now and forevermore.
3 From the rising of the sun to its setting The name of Yahweh is to be praised. From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised! From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised.
4 Yahweh is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens. The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens.
5 Who is like Yahweh our God, The One who sits on high, Who is like the LORD our God, who is seated on high, Who is like the LORD our God, the One who sits enthroned on high,
6 The One who brings Himself low to see The things in heaven and on the earth? who looks far down on the heavens and the earth? who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?
7 Who raises the poor from the dust And lifts high the needy from the ash heap, He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
8 To make them sit with nobles, With the nobles of His people. to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people. he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people.
9 He makes the barren woman of the house sit As a glad mother of children. Praise Yah! He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the LORD! He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD.
