1 The Proverbs of Solomon: A wise son makes a father glad, and a foolish son is the grief of his mother. The proverbs of Solomon. 24 The terror of a wicked one—it will come to him, and the desire of the righteous is given. What the wicked dreads will come upon him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted. What the wicked dread will overtake them; what the righteous desire will be granted.
25 At the passing over of a whirlwind, a wicked one is no more, and a righteous one has a foundation forever. When the tempest passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous is established forever. When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.

30 A righteous one will not be shaken forever, and the wicked will not dwell in the land. The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not dwell in the land. The righteous will never be uprooted, but the wicked will not remain in the land.
31 The mouth of a righteous one brings forth wisdom, and a tongue of perversity will be cut out. The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut off. From the mouth of the righteous comes the fruit of wisdom, but a perverse tongue will be silenced.
