These are the offspring of Aaron and Moses at the time the LORD spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai. These are the generations of Aaron and Moses at the time when the LORD spoke with Moses on Mount Sinai. This is the account of the family of Aaron and Moses at the time the LORD spoke to Moses at Mount Sinai.
These are the names of Aaron’s sons: Nadab, the firstborn, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. The names of the sons of Aaron were Nadab the firstborn and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
These are the names of Aaron’s sons, the anointed priests whom he ordained to serve as priests. These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed priests, whom he ordained to serve as priests. Those were the names of Aaron’s sons, the anointed priests, who were ordained to serve as priests.
But Nadab and Abihu died in the presence of the LORD when they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD in the wilderness of Sinai; and they left no sons. So only Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests during the lifetime of their father Aaron. But Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD when they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. So Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests in the lifetime of Aaron their father. Nadab and Abihu, however, died before the LORD when they made an offering with unauthorized fire before him in the Desert of Sinai. They had no sons, so Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests during the lifetime of their father Aaron.
Now the LORD said to Moses: And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, The LORD said to Moses,
Summon the tribe of Levi and station them before Aaron the priest to serve him. “Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him. “Bring the tribe of Levi and present them to Aaron the priest to assist him.
They shall discharge his obligations and those of the whole community before the tent of meeting by maintaining the tabernacle. They shall keep guard over him and over the whole congregation before the tent of meeting, as they minister at the tabernacle. They are to perform duties for him and for the whole community at the tent of meeting by doing the work of the tabernacle.
They shall have responsibility for all the furnishings of the tent of meeting and discharge the obligations of the Israelites by maintaining the tabernacle. They shall guard all the furnishings of the tent of meeting, and keep guard over the people of Israel as they minister at the tabernacle. They are to take care of all the furnishings of the tent of meeting, fulfilling the obligations of the Israelites by doing the work of the tabernacle.
You shall assign the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they have been assigned unconditionally to him from among the Israelites. And you shall give the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they are wholly given to him from among the people of Israel. Give the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they are the Israelites who are to be given wholly to him.
But you will appoint only Aaron and his descendants to exercise the priesthood. Any unauthorized person who comes near shall be put to death. And you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall guard their priesthood. But if any outsider comes near, he shall be put to death.” Appoint Aaron and his sons to serve as priests; anyone else who approaches the sanctuary is to be put to death.”
The LORD said to Moses: And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, The LORD also said to Moses,

The Levites, therefore, are mine, “Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the people of Israel instead of every firstborn who opens the womb among the people of Israel. The Levites shall be mine, “I have taken the Levites from among the Israelites in place of the first male offspring of every Israelite woman. The Levites are mine,
because every firstborn is mine. When I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I consecrated to me every firstborn in Israel, human being and beast alike. They belong to me; I am the LORD. for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I consecrated for my own all the firstborn in Israel, both of man and of beast. They shall be mine: I am the LORD.” for all the firstborn are mine. When I struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, I set apart for myself every firstborn in Israel, whether human or animal. The Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD. “Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock. The Levites are to be mine.
