1 AND in the end of the sabbath, when it began to dawn towards the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalen and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre. Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2 And behold there was a great earthquake. For an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and coming, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.
3 And his countenance was as lightning, and his raiment as snow. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.
4 And for fear of him, the guards were struck with terror, and became as dead men. And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5 And the angel answering, said to the women: Fear not you; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 7 And going quickly, tell ye his disciples that he is risen: and behold he will go before you into Galilee; there you shall see him. Lo, I have foretold it to you. See, I have told you.” Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8 And they went out quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy, running to tell his disciples. So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.
9 And behold Jesus met them, saying: All hail. But they came up and took hold of his feet, and adored him. And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.
10 Then Jesus said to them: Fear not. Go, tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, there they shall see me. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.” Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
11 Who when they were departed, behold some of the guards came into the city, and told the chief priests all things that had been done. While they were going, behold, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had taken place. While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened.
12 And they being assembled together with the ancients, taking counsel, gave a great sum of money to the soldiers, And when they had assembled with the elders and taken counsel, they gave a sufficient sum of money to the soldiers When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money,
13 Saying: Say you, His disciples came by night, and stole him away when we were asleep. and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’
14 And if the governor shall hear this, we will persuade him, and secure you. And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.”
15 So they taking the money, did as they were taught: and this word was spread abroad among the Jews even unto this day. So they took the money and did as they were directed. And this story has been spread among the Jews to this day. So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.
16 And the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus had appointed them. Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
17 And seeing them they adored: but some doubted. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world. teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
