These things spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to the heaven, and said -- 'Father, the hour hath come, glorify Thy Son, that Thy Son also may glorify Thee, When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.
according as Thou didst give to him authority over all flesh, that -- all that Thou hast given to him -- he may give to them life age-during; since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him.
and this is the life age-during, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and him whom Thou didst send -- Jesus Christ; And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
I did glorify Thee on the earth, the work I did finish that Thou hast given me, that I may do it. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.
'And now, glorify me, Thou Father, with Thyself, with the glory that I had before the world was, with Thee; And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
I did manifest Thy name to the men whom Thou hast given to me out of the world; Thine they were, and to me Thou hast given them, and Thy word they have kept; “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. “I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.
now they have known that all things, as many as Thou hast given to me, are from Thee, Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.
because the sayings that Thou hast given to me, I have given to them, and they themselves received, and have known truly, that from Thee I came forth, and they did believe that Thou didst send me. For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.
'I ask in regard to them; not in regard to the world do I ask, but in regard to those whom Thou hast given to me, because Thine they are, I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.
and all mine are Thine, and Thine are mine, and I have been glorified in them; All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.
and no more am I in the world, and these are in the world, and I come unto Thee. Holy Father, keep them in Thy name, whom Thou hast given to me, that they may be one as we; And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.
when I was with them in the world, I was keeping them in Thy name; those whom Thou hast given to me I did guard, and none of them was destroyed, except the son of the destruction, that the Writing may be fulfilled. While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.
'And now unto Thee I come, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves; But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.
I have given to them Thy word, and the world did hate them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world; I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.
I do not ask that Thou mayest take them out of the world, but that Thou mayest keep them out of the evil. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
'Of the world they are not, as I of the world am not; They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.
sanctify them in Thy truth, Thy word is truth; Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
as Thou didst send me to the world, I also did send them to the world; As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.
and for them do I sanctify myself, that they also themselves may be sanctified in truth. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
'And not in regard to these alone do I ask, but also in regard to those who shall be believing, through their word, in me; “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
that they all may be one, as Thou Father art in me, and I in Thee; that they also in us may be one, that the world may believe that Thou didst send me. that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
'And I, the glory that thou hast given to me, have given to them, that they may be one as we are one; The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—
I in them, and Thou in me, that they may be perfected into one, and that the world may know that Thou didst send me, and didst love them as Thou didst love me. I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
'Father, those whom Thou hast given to me, I will that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory that Thou didst give to me, because Thou didst love me before the foundation of the world. Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
'Righteous Father, also the world did not know Thee, and I knew Thee, and these have known that Thou didst send me, O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.
and I made known to them Thy name, and will make known, that the love with which Thou lovedst me in them may be, and I in them.' I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.” I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”
